My Life…

I was born in 1976 in a lovely town in the hills. The sun shined and the sky was blue. The birds were singing and life was good...then 10 minutes later I started crying and life changed forever. I was the 2nd child of 4 born in Liverpool. 5 years later we moved down to Cornwall for a quiet and more laid back life. I started at St Mewan School which I loved and will always fondly remember. I then moved on to Poltair School where I stayed until I was 16. I never excelled at school as I was more interested in having a laugh, rather than revising. I left school with average GCSE results. I then worked at a few places around St Austell. I knew I wanted more out of life so I did an Access Course in Sports Science for a year which got me a place at University College Worcester where I stayed for 3 year and graduated with Honours. I loved uni as it taught me how to drink and dance like no-ones watching. After Uni I spent 2 years travelling through Asia, Bali, Australia and spent a year working in New Zealand. This was probably the best 2 years of my life. I returned to England in 2003 to attend my sisters funeral. She had been suffering from Bi-polar disorder and couldn't handle life anymore. I was gutted as I thought that she would pull through. Then within 3 months of my sisters death my mother was diagnosed with lung cancer. As mum had never been a smoker it came as a massive shock to us all. She battled hard for 2 years but passed away at Mount Edgcumbe hospice in January 2006. I miss them both terribly. There deaths inspired me to create this website which I really hope makes a difference to peoples lives. I have so many dreams still to fulfill but as I am young and healthy i'm sure i'll get a chance to achieve these. All I want is to be happy. Its the most important thing to be.
